
Butcher
Full time position available:
43.5 hours per week
Working 7.00am–4.00pm every Tuesday–Friday
7.00am–5.00pm every Saturday
(1 Saturday off per month)
Experience and knowledge of boning-out and breaking down a full carcass and working in a butchery retail environment essential.

Responsibilities include:
Handling raw meat, boning-out full carcasses, preparing meats for curing, smoking, roasting and boiling. Making sausages, burgers, preparing speciality cuts, producing creative and attractive raw meat displays, preparing oven-ready meals such as stir fries, skewers, flavoured meats etc. Restocking the butchery counter, serving customers with polite customer service, a valuable team player keen to offer assistance and be generally hardworking and helpful.

Working as part of a team in a family-run farm shop business which has been selling home and locally produced food for over 60 years.
​
